Dataset description
Map represents isophone curves plotted by 5 dB(A) from 55 dB(A) The Lden (Day Evening Night for Evening Day and Night) is the indicator of the average sound level for the whole day of 24 hours.
It is calculated over the year for the noises recorded at different periods of the day, to which is applied a weighting for the more sensitive periods (+ 5 dB(A) in the evening and + 10 dB(A) at night).
It is therefore not an actual or measured noise level, but a weighted indication.
The seizure was made for a scale of cartographic restitution of 1/10 000th.
The cards will be updated every 5 years.
