**This dataset lists the licensed parking lots of the City of Paris, their entrances, the price offer as well as the types of vehicles welcomed.**
This geographical data geolocates all parking lots on their main entrance and describes the parking offer as defined by [schema.data.gouv.fr](https://schema.data.gouv.fr/etalab/schema-stationnement/latest.html) based on the Mobility Guidance Act (LOM). The LOM designates local authorities as responsible for making data available on the transport.data.gouv.fr platform, which is the National Access Point for mobility data for France.
In addition, the City of Paris provides **additional information on the location of parking lot entrances** and on **rate specifications or services available**.
The data model at the bottom of this notice specifies **the fields in BNLS format (Base Nationale des Lieux de Parking)** and ** those in VDP format (City of Paris)**.
Since **one**** parking space may have multiple entries**, the identifiers and **specific information** may be contained in **multi-valuated fields**.
Rate data are transmitted by dealers — parking lot manager to the Highways and Travel Directorate that assembles them.

NB: To retrieve the labels of the “technical” fields as defined in [schema.data.gouv.fr](https://schema.data.gouv.fr/etalab/schema-stationnement/latest.html), the CSV file is available in the [export tab](https://parisdata.opendatasoft.com/explore/dataset/stationnement-en-ouvrage/export) of the dataset.
To retrieve in the CSV the technical labels of the column headers, it should be specified in the export URL at the time of download, by setting “use_labels_for_header” to “false”.
