Location of the parking lot “blue zones” in the commune of Anglet which has been the subject of a municipal decree.
**What is a “blue zone”?**
In Anglet, parking is **free** but regulated. Thus, to better share time and combat suction cup vehicles, blue zones have been established.
**A blue zone requires drivers to place a disc on the front of their vehicle in parking,** so that they can be consulted by staff assigned to monitor the highway.
**Regulation.**
Parking remains free but limited to a maximum of 1 h30, except in the cases mentioned in the dataset. The blue zone is materialised on the ground by a blue marking. The blue disk (European model) must indicate for each vehicle the time of arrival. It shall be placed behind the sidewalk windscreen and shall be easily legible. It is forbidden to change the hours of your disk without moving your vehicle. In case of non-compliance with the legislation (not affixed record or parking time exceeded), a fine of EUR 35 will be applied.
