Hours compensated for partial activity according to the date of filing of the claim for compensation (DI) for the Centre-Val de Loire by sector of activity.
The system of partial activity (or short-time work) allows establishments facing temporary difficulties to reduce or suspend their activity while providing employees with compensation to compensate for their loss of wages. Compensation, provided by the employer, is partially borne by the State and Unedic.
Before they can use the partial activity scheme, companies must submit a request for prior authorisation (DAP) to the administration. Once accepted, companies then file a claim for compensation to obtain financial support. However, the number of employees actually in partial employment is generally lower than the number requested in the PADs because, depending on their actual needs, companies place only part of the number of employees authorised by the administration in this situation. In short, only claims for compensation (IDs) submitted each month by the companies make it possible to determine the effective use of partial activity. However, monitoring of DAPs makes it possible to count companies wishing to benefit from this scheme. Attention, the proposed indicators come from the exploitation of daily data. They are therefore subject to revision in particular for the last months.
