The PENAP perimeters are zoning allowing to freeze the agricultural and/or natural vocation of the land they concern to urban planning documents (PLU and SCOT).
They also make it possible to set up rural development projects in order in particular to sustain and boost agricultural activity in these territories thanks to the PSADER-PENAP programme (Strategic Agricultural and Rural Development Project).
