The commune of Anglet is divided into six sectors. Each sector represented by an elected official has its district council.
Each island has a neighbourhood council composed of nineteen people, including a president and eighteen members: six actors of local life, appointed by the mayor, chosen from among the personalities invested in the neighbourhood and twelve inhabitants per islet, volunteers and volunteers, designated by lot, respecting parity. The term of office shall be three years.
The district council helps with decision-making. His or her role is advisory, but the mayor and elected officials can consult him on decisions affecting the district or municipality.
