Perimeter of the Northern Vosges Transboundary Biosphere Reserve (2022-2032)

Perimeter updated during the 2021-year periodic review of the Transboundary Vosges Biosphere Reserve of Nord-Pfälzerwald. Periodic review validated by the International Coordinating Board of the MAB Programme on 17 June 2022. This perimeter covers the Northern Vosges Regional Natural Park and the Biosphärenreservat Pfälzerwald (Palatinate Biosphere Reserve). Next update published in 2032. Obtained by merging the two national perimeters with harmonisation at border level. The limit on the French side comes from the merger of the boundaries of the municipalities of the BD Topo de l’IGN (2019 version) with division according to the road network at the level of Phalsbourg and Wissembourg, municipalities in part only on the territory of the PNRVN. German data come from Geoportal der Naturschutzverwaltung Rheinland-Pfalz (Lanis) and Biosphärenreservat Pfälzerwald. Next update published in 2032.
