Perimeters of PAPI (Fund Prevention Action Programmes) in Burgundy-Franche-Comté

The table specifies the status of the perimeters of the Flood Prevention Action Programmes (PAPIs) in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. This file contains the projects. APIPs aim to promote integrated flood risk management with a view to reducing adverse impacts on human health, property, economic activities and the environment. A tool for contracting between the state and the communities, the PAPI system allows the implementation of a comprehensive flood policy, designed at the scale of the risk basin. This PAPI system has been initiated to treat flood risk in a global way, through actions combining hazard management (rehabilitation of flood expansion areas, dynamic slowdown, protection structures...) and reduction of the vulnerability of people, property and territories (limiting the urbanisation of flood areas, reducing the vulnerability of constructions, improving crisis prediction and management...) but also the risk culture (preventive information, flood markers, safety and backup procedures, etc.).
