Periodic bike count data on 15 count points located on various roads of Clermont Auvergne Métropole.
Since 2018, 10 counting points (15 counting points since 2019) have been established to measure cycling traffic. Two counting campaigns are organised per year (one in the spring and the other in the autumn). These campaigns systematically last a week. The meters count bicycles on the move (and only bicycles) regardless of its position on the public space (trottoir, cycling layout, roadway, tram track, etc.). In short, Clermont Auvergne Métropole wants to have a permanent meter that will count bicycle attendance every day of the year. The data from these permanent meters will be integrated into a separate database.
