Permit to build wind turbines on the department of Orne

A building permit is required for all onshore wind turbines over 12 meters high (Article R.421-2 of the code of l' urban planning) The application for a building permit is filed in the town hall. A prior assessment of the consequences on the environment (landscape, noise...) must be carried out by the project owner before any installation of wind turbines. This environmental assessment must be included in the file: — in the form of \#x27;a notice of #x27; impact for wind turbines of less than 50 metres or — in the form of {\#x27;a study of #x27; impact for wind turbines over 50 meters.
