Risk Prevention Plans (RPPs) are the key instrument for risk prevention. Their objective is to control development in areas at risk.
L' development of a risk prevention plan generates several spatial data sets. This spatial dataset contains linear zoning that specifically covers rocky coasts, from which the envelopes of the restricted zones corresponding to the high submersion hazard can be interpreted.
The coasts of Cayenne Island, especially those oriented to the north and east, remain exposed to possible destruction effects by sea packets due to the breaking of strong swells, without being able to map the areas of #x27; impact, evaluated at 5 m NGG d’#x27; altitude for portions of rocky or steep coasts, and at 10 or 20 m depth for low and sandy coasts.
Zoning approved by prefectoral No 1174/SIRACEDPC of 25 July 2001.
__Origin__
The mapping report of the draft zoning plan was carried out on the 1998 SERG background at 1/10000, with the rib line updated by BRGM (2000).
The cartographic representation of the zones d' submersion impact n'is not possible, the corresponding restricted zones have been shown on the plane by polylines corresponding to the corresponding zones of d'random.
The data comply with the COVADIS Risk Prevention Plan, version 1.0 of 28 March 2012
