_Methodological details_
\- The wage bill corresponds to the unpleasant basis of social security contributions.
\- An early estimate of the quarterly wage bill is released about 50 days after the end of the last quarter on the occasion of the release of the Economic Barometer. A more definitive estimate is distributed 20 days later, on the occasion of the release of the “Acoss Stat_” on the payroll and the number of employees. During these 20 days, the early series provides an additional quarter.
