Protective forests generating A7 servitudes in the English Channel

Category A7 easements refer to so-called protective forest easements. May be classified as protective forests, for reasons of public utility:- woods and forests whose conservation is recognised as necessary for the maintenance of land on the mountains and on slopes, for the defence against avalanches, erosions and invasions of water and sands;- woods and forests located on the outskirts of large agglomerations;- woods and forests located in areas where their maintenance s' imposes either for ecological reasons or for the well-being of the population.Protective forests are subject to a special forest regime with regard to in particular, management and rules of #x27; exploitation, exploitation, grazing and rights of #x27; use, excavations and extraction of materials as well as research and #x27; exploitation of water resources by public authorities or their delegates.Categorisation as a protection forest prohibits any change of #x27; assignment or any mode of land use; land use that compromises the conservation or protection of afforestation.
