Protocols for the submission of archives of the Presidential and Ministerial Cabinets 1976-2020

Concluded between the Interministerial Service of Archives of France (Ministry of Culture) and the holders of the archives within the Presidency of the Republic and the Government, the surrender protocols clarify the conditions for processing, storing and accessing these archives in order to frame and facilitate their collection. The dataset comprehensively identifies protocols for each government from 1976 to 2020 in order to meet the needs of both archivists and researchers. It will be updated regularly. The following data shall be identified: name and dates of office of the President; Prime Minister’s name and mandate dates; names, dates of office and function of members of government; existence and date of archival protocols. The dataset is complemented by a historical and legal presentation text on the protocols.
