The work was carried out in 2004 by the IFN. The rendering has a basis
digitised data with for ponds with a surface area greater than
1 Ha, the contour of the pond and for those where the area is included
between 1 000 m² and 1 Ha a symbol positioned on the body of water.
The methodology consists of examining on microcomputer the boards
infrared colors that have been previously orthorectified, to identify areas supposed to be bodies of water (very good visibility
in infrared) and which are of a size greater than 1 000 m² and to be traced
the contour of areas with a surface area greater than 1 Ha. It is, therefore, a question of
very heavy but reliable work.
