Dataset description

The Plan for the Prevention of Natural Risks of Floodation in the commune of Grimaud, linked to the presence of the rivers of the Giscle and the Guard, was approved by prefectural decree of 30 December 2005. For natural PPRs, the code of l'environment defines two categories of zones (L562-1): risk-exposed areas and areas that are not directly exposed to risks but where measures may be planned to avoid d’#x27; exacerbate the risk. Depending on the level of d'aira, each zone is the subject of an opposable regulation. Regulations generally distinguish three types of zones: 1- ‘zones d' prohibition to build’, known as ‘red zones’, where the level of #x27; hazard is strong and the general rule is #x27; prohibition on building; 2- ‘zones subject to requirements’, known as ‘blue zones’, where the level of hazard is average and projects are subject to requirements adapted to the type of #x27; stakes; 3- areas not directly exposed to risks but where constructions, structures, development or agricultural, forestry, artisanal, commercial or industrial operations could aggravate or cause new risks, subject to prohibitions or requirements (cf. Article L562-1 of the Code of the Environment). The latter category is only applicable to natural PPRs. __Origin__ Hazard mapping (allowing the development of regulatory zoning) was defined on the basis of mathematical modelling of 100-year flood flows from a 1/5000th-scale photogrammetry. The hazard thus realised, a map on paper was provided. This hazard allowed, after the application of a constructibility grid, to determine a digitalised and postponed regulatory zoning on a background IGN1998©EDR 25. A separate mapinfo table existed for each type of zoning: R1, R2, B1 and B2. These 4 tables were then merged to create a single table. The layer was cut according to the municipal boundary of BDTOPO edition 171. __Partner organisations__ DDTM Var, DDTM83/SAD/BR __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-592af172-462e-4a44-8e3e-684aec12f26d) * [Dynamic Mapping of the Var DDTM](http://carto.geo-ide.application.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/814/internet.map) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/fdb90223cac2e9ed98ed8a1ab08bdb7a9082ef76)
