Dataset description

The plans for the prevention of natural hazards were established by the law of 2 February 1995 on the strengthening of the protection of the environment. They constitute the essential instrument of the State in the field of risk prevention. Their objective is to control the development of urban planning and land use in areas at risk. For natural PPRs, the code of l'environment defines two categories of zones (L562-1): risk-exposed areas and areas that are not directly exposed to risks but where measures may be planned to avoid d’#x27; exacerbate the risk. Depending on the level of d'aira, each zone is the subject of an opposable regulation. Regulations generally distinguish three types of zones: 1- “zones d' prohibition to build”, so-called “red zones”, when the level of #x27; hazard is strong and the general rule is #x27; prohibition to build; 2- “prescription zones”, so-called “blue zones”, where the level of #x27; hazard is average and projects are subject to requirements adapted to the type of #x27; issue; 3- areas not directly exposed to risks but where constructions, structures, development or agricultural, forestry, artisanal, commercial or industrial operations could aggravate or cause new risks, subject to prohibitions or requirements (see Article L562-1 of the Code of the Environment). __Origin__ combination of a technological risk given to a multi-hazard PPRN __Partner organisations__ DDTM Haute-Corse __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-af388337-3859-48f8-944b-a29bfc756749) * [documentation of the VAlidation Data Commission Data Standard for Spatialised Information (COVADIS): Natural and Technological Risk Prevention Plan](http://www.geoinformations.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/standard-de-donnees-covadis-plan-de-prevention-des-a2140.html) * [COVADIS data standard: Types of risk addressed in a multi-risk PPRN](http://geostandards.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/afficherPageStandard.do?jeu=N_PPRN_MULTIRISQUE) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/6be2c4238fee1ebec83f205547767fc8ec5e0416)
