Report Water Framework Directive 2010: methodologies for the assessment of surface water bodies by WFD basin

Information on methodologies for DCE surface water bodies evaluation, whole France. For each basin the following methods are detailed: — typology of masses d'water, — water status classification systems, — interpretation of monitoring results, — identification of pressures, — identification of impacts, use of exemptions, — deviations and uncertainties. A file is available for each DCE basin. All elements and field filling rules are explained in the xsd SWMethods_3p0.xsd file accessible for download by the link to the associated xsd file. Directive 2000/60/EC, known as the Water Framework Directive (WFD), establishes a framework for Community action in the field of water policy.
