Risk Prevention Plans (RPPs) are the key instrument for risk prevention. Their objective is to control development in areas at risk.
L' development of a risk prevention plan generates a series of spatial data organised into several datasets. This dataset describes the restricted areas of the plan once approved.
RPP regulations generally distinguish:
— the ‘zones d' prohibition to build’, known as ‘red zones’, when the level of ' hazard is strong and the general rule is n°#x27; prohibition on building;
— ‘required areas’, known as ‘blue zones’ where the level of hazard is average and projects are subject to requirements adapted to the type of #x27; issue and areas not directly exposed to risks but subject to prohibitions or requirements
__Origin__
The boundaries of a zone d’#x27;aira are represented on the map of hazards according to the level of l'random. In other words, polygon objects representing zones d'random form a cover of the studied area of which each cover element is a closed polygon in which hazards have the same level of ' intensity. In other words, the criterion for cutting the zones d'random is the level of l'random.
The hazard table was created from the hydraulic study of the prevention plan.
