Points of the position of the coast line (date of the surveys) carried out by general public contributors using the; participatory smartphone application Rivages developed by the Cerema, as part of the National Strategy for Integrated Coastline Management and at the Environmental Conference of #x27;April 2016 among the measures to “Adapt coastal territories to climate change”. These data are important for interpreting coastal line evolutions.
__Origin__
The shorelines have been lifted by general public contributors using the participatory shoreline application developed by Cerema. Contributors have to follow a protocol available in the app and walk on the place adapted to the type of beach on which they are located. The trace is therefore recorded with the location of the GPS internal to the smartphone, likely of more or less good quality depending on the smartphone and the satellite coverage (mask...). Cerema eliminates in the participatory collection process the most outliers. For rib line evolution, it is strongly recommended to use these point raw data to filter the points raised by various precision dilution data, for example.
