Roads to Grande Circulation (RGC) on Rennes Métropole

Extract from Article L110-3 of the Highway Code: “high-traffic roads, regardless of their membership of the State, are roads which ensure the continuity of the main routes and, in particular, the removal of traffic, the circulation of exceptional transport, convoys and military transport and the economic service of the territory, and justify, as such, special rules concerning traffic police. The list of highways with high traffic shall be fixed by decree, after consulting the authorities and the groups owning the roads (Decree No 2010-578 of 31 May 2010 establishing the list of roads with large traffic).’
