Dataset description

Data as at 01/03/2020 Last update: 02/02/2020 Important Following the recent mergers of municipalities, SCOT perimeters are still likely to evolve. A readjustment of the perimeters will be made in the light of the deliberations. Created by the Urban Solidarity and Renewal Act (SRU), replacing the master plans, the Territorial Coherence Schemas (SCOT) are long-term planning documents, the objective of which is to set the objectives of the sustainable development of an inter-communal territory. Reinforced by Grenelle laws, they must define, among other things: the balance between urbanised, agricultural and natural areas, in particular with regard to the objectives of limiting land consumption; objectives for the development of public transport offers and urbanised areas served by such public transport; the means to be implemented to ensure the maintenance and restoration of ecological corridors; the objectives of commercial establishment... Implemented and carried out on the initiative of a public institution, they shall be evaluated within 6 years of their approval in order to deliberate on a possible revision. The Local Urban Planning Plans (PLU), Local Habitat Programmes (PLH), Business Development Schemes, Safeguarding and Valuation Plans (PSMVs) and Urban Displacement Plans (PDUs) must be made compatible with the SCOT guidelines. SCOTs must also take into account the Regional Ecological Coherence Schemas (SRCE) and Territorial Energy Climate Plans (TEPs). As a result, they appear to be the main normative tools to ensure the implementation of the measures set out in the ETCPs. __Origin__ Zoning d'a SCoT is carried out by l' assembling the perimeters of the municipalities belonging to this SCoT. Repository: BD CARTO©®IGN. Date of reference: 01/07/2008. Source: data on SCoT perimeters are disseminated by the inter-ministerial delegation to the territorial planning and regional attractiveness (DATAR). L' data extraction s' performs in csv format.
