The coastal path must allow pedestrians to access the shore of the sea and travel as long as possible along the coast. It designates the entire open route along the sea. It has no single legal status because it consists of sections of a different legal nature. Depending on the nature of the land bordering the maritime public domain, the trail passes over the public domain of the State or local authorities, or on private property. L' the entire path constituting the coastal path includes the path open to pedestrians, the linear path to be studied or accessible in the short term, the linear of the coastline inaccessible.
