Dataset description

The GIP Seine-Aval was created in 2003 to manage the Seine-Aval research programme, but also to promote the knowledge acquired and transfer it to the decision-maker. Today, it has 12 funding members and collaborates with many partners. Its team is made up of 7 people, specialised in various fields of the environment. GIP Seine-Aval is interested in the Seine estuary. This territory corresponds to the 170 km of river subject to the tide. It is bounded by the dam of Poses upstream and by the bay of Seine downstream. It includes adjoining areas, including banks and related wetlands, as well as the nearby marine area.
