The Servitudes of Utility can be categorised into four categories, according to their objectives:* servitudes related to heritage conservation;* servitudes relating to the use of certain resources and equipment;* servitudes relating to the National Defence;* servitudes relating to health and public safety. This data standard provides a technical framework describing in detail how to dematerialise these servitudes into a geographic database that is exploitable by a GIS tool and interoperable for separate territories. The scope of this data standard encompasses notions relating to easements: the legal acts establishing them, the managers, the generators and the bases.Since the elaboration of this COVADIS data standard, s' a working group is held under the auspices of the DGALN, whose aim was to produce methodological sheets describing the legal foundations and geomatic aspects of each servitude category. These sheets complete with a more detailed business description of each servitude this standard and are online on the PND Urbanisme website. This COVADIS standard was developed on the basis of the standardised SUP categories and the 2007 CNIG SUP model. This standard follows and complements the one on PLUs validated in 2010. This data standard is now to be used within the MEDDTL and the MAAPRAT to store, exploit and exchange the data resulting from the dematerialisation of SUPs.
