Social housing financed by the Greater Paris Seine Ouest Territory.
GPSO participates in the development of the provision of social housing in the territory by granting subsidies to social donors for the implementation of new programmes.
The different types of social housing (PLAI, PLUS and PLS)
The construction of social rental housing is financed in part with state-assisted loans. The loan types, PLAI (Aided Integration Loan), PLUS (Social Use Loan), PLS (Social Rental Loan), determine the rent levels and resource ceilings that will be required from tenants to enter the housing.
There are thus several categories of social housing according to the loans and subsidies granted to the organisations during the construction of the building:
* social housing in the PLAI category is reserved for persons whose income is less than 60 % of the PLUS ceilings;
* social housing in the PLUS category corresponds to conventional social housing. Household income is between 60 % and 100 % of the PLUS ceilings;
* social housing in the PLS category is aimed at households with incomes between 100 % and 130 % of the PLUS ceilings.
As a benchmark, the various resource ceilings for a single person and a couple amount to the following amounts as of January 1, 2019:
