The noise classification of land transport infrastructure is aimed at classifying all tracks with a TMJA (annual average daily traffic) exceeding 5000 vehicles/day for roadways.
For railways, the threshold is 50 trains per day.
The tracks are classified into 5 categories (1 being considered the loudest sum, and 5 the least noisy).
A sector affected by noise arises from this classification, at the <#x27; within which s' applies rules of constructibility.
