On April 9, 2019, the sixth [State Open Forum] (https://www.etalab.gouv.fr/forum-open-detat-6-renforcer-la-transparence-de-laide-publique-au-developpement-par-louverture-des-donnees), in partnership with the French Development Agency, took place. The Forum brought together administrations and civil society working on official development assistance: Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, OECD, Oxfam, Action Against Hunger, CCFD.
A presentation by the French Development Agency and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs around the official development aid portal addressed the history and current events of the open data of official development aid and the data of the two institutions.
After the interventions of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Oxfam and the OECD, having discovered all the ways to process ODA data, workshops involved the public on ODA information sources and impact studies.
The workshops highlighted participants’ requests for impact assessments (lengths and harmonisations of project fiches, etc.) and identified different sources of information on the subject of official development assistance: open data portal, newspapers, institutional reports etc.
