Sports equipment in Region Centre-Val de Loire

This dataset presents the characteristics of the sports equipment identified as part of the RES as of 1 February 2020 in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Sports equipment is an area which, on its own, allows the practice of one or more physical and/or sporting activities. It contains a minimum of specific materials enabling compliance with the principles and rules related to their practice (e.g. a legible track on the floor and cages for a handball field,...). * Sports equipment is identified within a sports facility. * Sports equipment carries one or more physical and/or sporting activities (APS). * A “Equipment” sheet identifies the characteristics of a sporting equipment or of several identical sports equipment located in the same sports facility The National Review of the Integrity of Spatial Equipment, Equipment and Sites is one of the primary actions carried out by the Ministry responsible for Sport. The aim of the process is to provide a good shared knowledge of existing facilities and sites and to help to improve the perception of regional inequalities in their repair. This is a prerequisite for any forward-looking approach to spatial planning. The methodology is presented as an attachment.
