SRCE 2014 — Permeable Terrestrial Spaces of Rhône-Alpes

They make it possible to ensure the coherence of the green and blue frame in addition to the ecological corridors by translating the idea of gobal connectivity of the territory. They are generally made up of a so-called “ordinary” nature but indispensable for the ecological functioning of the territory, land areas with predominantly agricultural, forest and natural areas but also spaces linked to aquatic environments. Permeable spaces are areas of vigilance, acting as corridors for linking biodiversity reservoirs. The challenge for the SRCE is to ensure that their functionality is maintained over the long term.
