SRCE: Biodiversity reservoirs of green and blue frames in Pays de la Loire

Pursuant to Article R.371-19 II of the Environmental Code, biodiversity reservoirs are spaces in which rare or common biodiversity, threatened or unthreatened, is the richest or best represented, where species can complete all or part of their life cycle (food, reproduction, rest) and where natural habitats can ensure their functioning, in particular being of sufficient size. These are spaces that can house nuclei of populations of species from which individuals disperse, or likely to accommodate new populations. __Origin__ Only the synthetic reservoirs shown on the off-stream CERS maps are retained in this table. According to the method specific to each region and the delimitation quality (geographical or schematic), the geometry must correspond to the outer geographical envelope(s) of the object represented on the mapping of the SRCE, ensuring the rules of ecological continuity. Thus the contiguous spaces constituting the same reservoir are merged into the same polygon in order to ensure the best spatial continuity.
