(SRE) Terrestrial Eolien, favorable areas of the Pays de la Loire regional scheme

Wind-friendly areas correspond to the geographical areas that a regional wind scheme has identified as favourable to the development of onshore wind energy. Origin The perimeter of each wind-friendly zone is delimited by the regional wind scheme. An area favourable to onshore wind is represented by a surface object which does not necessarily rely on the topology of municipal administrative division. The geometry of the wind-friendly zones is obtained either by retrieving the geographical data used to develop the adopted SRE or by entering the mapping documents contained in the SRE. This data should be used on a small scale: any overlay or comparison with municipal or sub-communal level data would be inconsistent.
