* * *
The data presented here include the number of subsidised housing in urban renewal projects.
For each housing operation, the number of housing units subsidised by the Department, the developer concerned and the type of operation concerned shall be presented: the demolition of social rental housing, the construction of social housing as part of the reconstruction of the demolished social supply, rehabilitation, improvement of the quality of service and “residentialisations” (cf. lexicon).
The intervention sites referred to are the urban renewal projects carried out by the communes of Hauts-de-Seine which have been the subject of an agreement between the municipality concerned, the ANRU (cf. lexicon), the Department and all the co-financers.
This dataset is no longer powered following the completion of the ANRU 1 program.

ANRU
National Agency for Urban Renovation. Since 2004, ANRU has been implementing comprehensive and multi-year intervention programmes to transform these stigmatised neighbourhoods into neighbourhoods that are better integrated into the surrounding urban fabric.
Residentisation
A residentisation operation consists of arranging the surroundings of social housing buildings in particular with a view to clarifying the domaniality of outdoor spaces. It mainly translates into actions with a spatial component: a sectorisation of space, a redefinition of the statutes and uses of outdoor spaces as well as the management methods associated with them.
Improvement of the quality of service
The improvement of the quality of service consists of light interventions on the common parts of the social building with a view to improving the comfort of tenants of the type: securing access, requalification of halls, change of mailboxes,...
**Special observations**
These data present only part of the Department’s intervention in urban renewal. Grants are also awarded for road development and public infrastructure construction/renovation projects in particular.
The reference taken is the date of the vote in the standing committee of the grant concerned and the operation (end of work) is carried out thereafter.
