The origin of risk characterises the real-world entity which, by its presence, represents a potential risk. This origin can be characterised by a name and, in some cases, a geographical object l' real entity to #x27; origin of risk. The location of the entity and the knowledge of the dangerous phenomenon are used to define the risk basins, the areas exposed to the risks that form the PPR.For PPRNs, this entity may, for example, correspond to a stream of water, a geologically unstable area. __Origin__ The geometric modeling of ' entity at ' origin of risk depends on the type of risk, the context of the PPR, the nature of the generator and its modeling in the data source or geographical repository from which it originates.
