The 2020 edition of the patent applicants’ list highlights the major companies that invest in innovation in France, such as the PSA Group, Safran and Valeo Group, the top three in the ranking. Among the top 50 patent applicants are 13 public research organisations, an increase this year, but also 3 mid-cap companies.
