Dataset description

A mass of transition water is a distinct and significant part of surface waters near river or river mouths, which are partially saline due to their proximity to coastal waters but which remain fundamentally influenced by freshwater currents, constituting the elementary division of aquatic environments destined to be #x27; unit d' WFD assessment.
