Transition(s) 2050 — Four scenarios for achieving carbon neutrality

Carbon neutrality by 2050 now belongs to the common language. While its definition is roughly shared, the way to reach it remains unclear, if not unknown, for most decision-makers and citizens. However, in the face of the climate emergency, the changes to be made are of such magnitude that it is essential to speed up the debate now, given the time frames for decision-making in a democratic framework, as well as those for their implementation. That is why ADEME wanted to submit to the debate four “type” paths, coherent and contrasted, to lead France towards carbon neutrality. This dataset allows you to have the main data used for this foresight work as they are set up.
