Transport — Itinerary of exceptional transport convoys in Loir-et-Cher

Exceptional transport means the transport or movement of goods, machinery or vehicles whose dimensions and/or mass exceed the prescribed limits laid down in the Highway Code. The Highway Code specifies the definition of exceptional transport in Article R.433-1 and then the traffic principles of this type of transport in Articles R.433-2 to R.433-4 and R.433-6. Exceptional transport must be subject to prior prefectural authorisation.
