Urban contract for social cohesion (CUCS) in Pas-de-Calais

Urban social cohesion contracts succeeded city contracts in 2007 as part of the developed territory project for the benefit of neighbourhoods in difficulty. The CUCS is a contract between the State and the local and regional authorities which commits each of the partners to implement concerted actions to improve the daily lives of inhabitants in neighbourhoods experiencing difficulties (unemployment, violence, housing...).It is developed at the \#x27; joint initiative of the mayor or the president of EPCI, and the prefect of department. The general framework and guidelines were defined by the Interministerial Committee at the City (CIV) of 9 March 2006.The contract is signed for a period of three years, renewable once, by the prefect of department and by the mayor and/or the president of EPCI, in consultation with the prefect of the region. Regional and general councils are, at their request, involved in contracting. Depending on local issues, privileged partners are requested: deposit and deposit fund, caisses d' family allowances, social donors, rectorats...The data only contain the urban social cohesion contracts that have been signed. The old CUCS (i.e. those that are finished) are to be archived. __Origin__ The geometry of n°#x27; a perimeter of CUCS is constructed by l' geometric aggregation of polygons representing the municipalities concerned by the same CUCS.
