Urban units according to INSEE in the Pas-de-Calais department

Urban unit is a commune or a set of municipalities that has a built-up area of at least 2,000 inhabitants in its territory where no dwelling is separated from the nearest of more than 200 meters. In addition, each municipality concerned has more than half of its population in this built-up area. If the urban unit s' extends over several municipalities, l' all of these municipalities form a multi-municipal agglomeration or urban agglomeration. If the urban unit s' extends to a single municipality, it is called isolated city. The urban units, dated 2010 were established with reference to the population known in the 2007 census, with a geography as of 01/01/2017.
