Vaccination data by department — Covid-19 — France

Data from the Vaccine Covid information system, fed by the health professionals carrying out the vaccinations, can count in near real time (J-1), the number of people who have been injected with COVID vaccine taking into account the number of doses received, age, sex and geographical level (national, regional and departmental). The first indicators available in open access today relate to the **daily number of people receiving at least one dose, per injection date (as well as this cumulative number), by age group and sex.** **They are presented here at the departmental level.** These first indicators will be completed as they go. From 2 February: Addition of resident resident datasets in Ehpad (care facility for dependent seniors) and USLD (long-term care unit). Residents of Ehpad and USLDs are not identified as such in the Vaccine Covid base. Are defined as residents in Ehpad or USLD: vaccinated persons whose place of vaccination is coded “Ehpad” or “USLD” or whose Finess number of the place of vaccination corresponds to an Ehpad or USLD and aged 65 years and over, or persons vaccinated and identified a priori by Cnam as a resident of Ehpad or USLD. Data may be biased in the event of a coding error at the vaccination site in Vaccine Covid. The flow of vaccination information is not immediate and the data are consolidated over the water. #### Precaution of data use Although the new injections are now seized over the water in Vaccin Covid, some injections since the end of December have not yet been entered in Vaccine Covid. In some regions, the Vaccine Covid data are now more complete than the increase made by the ARS, but in others this is not the case yet — especially in Île de France, Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur and Auvergne Rhône Alpes. The data that will now be published every day by Santé publique France at the date of injection will make it possible to report on this catch-up. In the departmental files, if a line for a number of vaccinated at a given date is missing, it is that there was no vaccination that day in the department. **Enrichments:** \- addition of department and region names, region codes, ISO 3166-3 codes \- aggregation of data by age group and sex: the variable column allows filtering on one of the two cuttings; the column “variable_val” contains the official age class or sex code, the column “variable_label” contains the wording associated with that code, as described in the documentation.
