Waste treatment of Grand Chambéry: annual cost

Data on the annual cost per capita per type of treatment of waste collected in the territory of Grand Chambéry since 2017. The agglomeration community, Grand Chambéry, exercises the competence of collecting and treating waste. The main services rendered to the population of the 38 municipalities: collection of household and similar waste, recyclable waste, glass, batteries, textiles, cardboard from shopkeepers in downtown Chambéry, management of four waste plants through service providers, operation of a composting platform. Once collected, the waste is transported to the treatment equipment, allowing waste to be sorted for material recovery (recycling), organic (composting platform) or energy recovery (incineration). Grand Chambéry has delegated waste treatment jurisdiction to the syndicate Savoie Déwastes.
