The PM4 easements relate to water retention zones, the mobility zones of the water courses, and the so-called "strategic zones for the management of water; and relate to
— the creation of zones for the temporary retention of flood or run-off water by means of facilities enabling them to artificially increase their storage capacity for such waters, in order to reduce floods or runoffs in areas downstream;
— the creation or restoration of the mobility zones of the minor bed; a course of water upstream of urbanised areas in so-called areas; mobility zones of a course of water " in order to preserve or restore its essential hydrological and geomorphological characteristics;
— the preservation or restoration of wetlands known as " strategic areas for the management of water; delimited by plan d' sustainable management and management of water resources and aquatic environments; a diagram of water management and management (SAGE).
