The watershed is the base unit for water management.
In addition to the catchment areas defined in the BD Carthage framework on the basis of the reference river basins, procedures (e.g. control basins defined by drought protocols) or the specific needs of the services (e.g. river watersheds or watersheds upstream of #x27; a catch of #x27; water) may lead them to create dedicated watersheds, referred to as “specific watersheds” or “watersheds of #x27; use” associated with particular points. It is these sub-basins that are described in this layer.
