White-dominated space (urban areas)
The list of municipalities is that given by the Official Geographical Code (COG) on 01/01/2017.
The table was updated on 20/06/2017 by GIS workshop d' after INSEE data (released on 06/04/2017)
Urban units can be downloaded from the website of l'INSEE
An urban area or & large urban area" is a set of municipalities, d' a single tenant and without enclave, consisting of an urban pole (urban unit) of more than 10 000 jobs, and by rural municipalities or urban units (peri-urban crown) of which at least 40 % of the resident population with a job works in the pole or in municipalities attracted by it.
Urban zoning 2010 also distinguishes:
— the average areas &, set of municipalities, of a single tenant and without enclave, consisting of a pole (urban unit) of 5 000 to 10 000 jobs, and by rural municipalities or urban units of which at least 40 % of the resident population with a job works in the pole or in municipalities attracted to it.
— small areas, set of municipalities, of a single tenant and without enclave, consisting of a pole (urban unit) of 1 500 to 5 000 jobs, and by rural municipalities or urban units of which at least 40 % of the resident population with a job works in the pole or in municipalities attracted to it.
The urban areas, dating from 2010, were established with reference to the population known in the 2008 census.

— Construction of buffer zones from selected 2011 land files according to the method described in document ‘ProcedureIndic2_3’ attached for download.
— Then expansion, assembly and erosion with expansion and erosion rays fixed to 30 m.
