Writers’ Residencies 2010-2014

The regional program of writers’ residencies makes it possible to associate an author with a place, in a dimension of aid to literary creation and cultural action. Objectives of the aid: * To foster a living relationship of the inhabitants to literary creation while allowing the author’s own writing project. * “residence” is understood as the association of an author and a host structure to carry out a literary action project over a period of 2 to 10 months. Beneficiaries: * Organisations carrying out a residency project:high schools, libraries, social centres, works councils, hospitals, etc. * Persons in residences: authors, translators, literary critics, French and foreign. * Authors: have published at least one publisher’s book in French or translated into French, or texts in at least three journals.
