Youth structures and animation

Youth as well as global outreach are among the main concerns of the city of Suresnes. Various resources and structures allow the Suresnois to access a complete offer: * **the Youth and Animation Service** of the City leads and coordinates the Social Centre multi-site Suresnes Animation, the Community Youth Council and Suresnes Youth Information. Its objective is to propose an offer covering all the themes (leisure, guidance, occupational integration, health, social link, fight against the digital divide, learning the French language, etc.) and distributed fairly throughout the territory. He is the privileged interlocutor of colleges and high schools. * **Suresnes Animation (IFAC)** manages the **Social Centre of Suresnes**, the most important of Hauts-de-Seine with no less than 9 structures distributed equally throughout the national territory, within the framework of a public contract: 3 neighbourhood houses (Gambetta, Oak, Sorbiers), Ludothèque, adult relay learning French (Relais de Sarah et Femmes Relais), Cyberesp@ce, youth space and Zik'Studio. The aim is to offer a comprehensive, family and multigenerational animation offer to all the inhabitants of Suresnes. * **The youth area** is a multi-partnership, bringing together the youth-animation service, Suresnes Information Jeunesse, Suresnes Animation and the Local Mission. Located in the centre of the city at 6, allée des Maraîchers, it offers young people from 15 to 25 years of age an identified place meeting all their needs: free reception, leisure, information, guidance, support, employment, project management, stays, etc. * **the Municipal Council of Youth** promotes the involvement of young people in Suriname from CM2 to higher education and enables them to act on the territory of the municipality by discovering the institutions, by introducing themselves to the project methodology and by promoting active solidarity. The elected young people are representatives of the pupils of schools, colleges and high schools, but they are also, in general, the relay between the young people of the city and the municipality. * **Suresnes Information Jeunesse (SIJ)** is an association with which the City has entered into an objective agreement. Benefiting from the “Youth Information” accreditation, the YSI works to welcome, inform and guide young people on training and vocational integration. Many events and actions “outside the walls” are also implemented throughout the year. * **the Local Mission** welcomes, advises, guides and accompanies young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who have left the school system and are in the process of vocational integration.
