A river water body is a distinct and significant part of surface waters such as a river, river or canal, part of a river, river or canal. The river water body consists of elementary sections (in the same way as the BDCarthage ®). This element inherits the characteristics of the BDCarthage ® elementary hydrographic section. The geometry of the River Mass Theme is therefore the aggregation of the elementary sections that make up it. This is done using the river water body code. The criteria for the achievement of competing water bodies are: — A body of water belongs to a single hydroecoregion — The dominant fish stock based on the fish context (salmonella, Cypriniculture, Intermediary) — Size class (rank of confluence of Strahler) The water body code is structured as follows: Water body type code + DCE basin district code + Increment
