Dataset description

A CED basin corresponds to: — to a national river basin district (example: Corsica watercourses) — either to a portion of an international river basin district situated in the territory of a Member State (examples: The Meuse; Sambre) Each WFD basin has a coordinating competent authority which is the body responsible for the implementation of the WFD within the WFD basin. Its cartographic representation is the aggregation of the polygons of the administrative CED sub-basins. The geographical coverage is national (metropolitan France + DOM). DCE reporting correspondence: This entity is reported for the River Basin District layer in WISE
