Dataset description

In the case of 3D building models, the modelling of the building as a block model (Level of Detail 1/LoD 1). In the second stage, the so-called structure model (LoD2), the building is additionally represented with a standardised roof shape, such as saddle or whale roof. The data bases of the LoD1, which is widely available for Lower Saxony, come from ALKIS® (building plan), the DGM (site height of the building) and bDOM data from digital image correlation (building height).
